SARTOR FOALS 2005

In 2005 the Sartor Stud expects the arrival of 7 foals of our own breeding, starting around 3rd week of February. You are cordially invited to see and follow the ensuing results on our web-site. Should you be interested in buying any of these foals please don’t hesitate to contact us. Should you want to order any of the foals before birth that can also be arranged, again contact us. All foals come with full pedigree. The happenings are scheduled as follows:

1. NICOLE KNN 2117 DK Knab. (fullspotted black leopard) X FIGARO KNN 147 DK Knab. "Sartors Serious Callers Only" born sunday 20. February 2005. 100% purebred whiteborn Knabstrupper colt in 3rd generation, 87½% purebred in 4th generation. By Figaro af Hallundbæk out of Nicole. All 16 ancestors in 4th generation are carriers of the LP/PATN genes. He is very lively, has correct conformation, is very curious and has triangles on all 4 feet. Sold to Estonia

And this is Sartors William Conqueror, named after the norman duke William "the Bastard" a.k.a. William the Conqueror who won the famous Battle at the grey apple Tree a.k.a. the Battle of Hastings in 1066. He is a fullspotted black leopard colt, 100% purebred Knabstrupper in 3rd generation, 75% in 4th. Born sunday morning 12 March.

Around March 21:

In spite of camera surveillance and physical inspection during the night, Comtesse this morning (march 23th) panicked during birth and trampled the foal to death before we had any chance at all to intervene. A very big 100% purebred fullspotted black leopard filly has now been sent over there where the grass is forever green and the water cool and plenty, with no name. The family in tears.

4. NELLY KNN 2121 DK Knab. (few spot/white) X DE NOIR DVH 812 (De Niro-Donnerhall)

Precisely at midnight arrived this big cutie filly, chestnut with long blaze and minimal LP markings (which proves Nelly to be a whiteborn type 2 LPLP/PATNpatn). She was up on her feet after 15 minutes and has been jumping around like a gazelle since. Very good conformation, correct all over. We cannot wait to see her De Noir movements but so far so very good.

5. JASMIN KNN 2120 DK Knab. (few spot/white) X DE NOIR DVH 812 (De Niro-Donnerhall) Around April 19

Again at midnight April 17/18 a foal was delivered at the Sartor stud. This time it was Jasmin´s turn, a very big filly by De Noir (see the link to a video of De Noir at the bottom of this page). One LP gene and one PATN gene will probably colour this filly out to a fullspotted chestnut leopard with small chestnut spots, long white blaze and white socks.
